Lovely local spot for beer, coffee, eats, and treats. I was traveling for work and was able to settle in their outdoor spot for a mobile office. Will go back ANY time I'm in Sault

This cafe has the most incredible ambiance. Coolest vibe. They have a wide range of options on their menu and a ton of seating available from inside to the outside patio. It’s a must stop for anyone visiting Sault Ste Marie.

We had a great experience at Bird's Eye over Labor Day weekend! First, we did the Soo Locks kayak with Ken, who led the tour. It was perfect weather, and Ken navigated us through the St. Mary's River and the locks. He gave us a ton of information before the kayak, and when we hit some rough parts, he guided us through and kept us in the best position. When we were done, we went back to Bird's Eye and then had a couple of beers and a delicious sandwich, then went back later in the day for an afternoon coffee. They had everything we needed, and the food was great.

I posted my first 5 star review here 6 years ago...I still stand by that. This place is not your typical anything. Which makes it perfect to me. They use the best coffee, roasted by Les Cheneau Coffee Roasters, which is "just" south of here on the south side of the UP. It is by far the best coffee I've ever had - every single blend, including their cold brew and their espresso. Beside that, the food is awesome! Hands down, always get one of the specials (if they aren't sold out yet!). I don't know who does the menu but they probably should get paid more. Simple, healthy, delicious, I would eat here for every meal if it were possible . The staff is also great, friendly, and accommodating. The atmosphere is nice as well, you have to go here to really understand. They frequently change up how the furniture is arranged, which is fun. And unlike a lot of coffee or breakfast places, there is plenty of room.

This was a really unique place. A very relaxed atmosphere with multiple types of seating. A small but varied menu with healthy foods, smoothies and coffee drinks. They also have sporting equipment, bike repair shop, a small bar and more. This was a great stop on our visit to Sault Ste Marie

Best coffee shop vibe I've ever experienced- definitely will be back. The smoothie bowls are to die for, and I'll need so many trips to try everything on the menu! Wow! Plenty of seating throughout the shop and a patio outside :) Great place for study or meet ups with friends

Such an AMAZING coffee shop! The BEST barista was so accommodating and friendly. We had a huge order with nine specialty drinks and each one was perfect. The espresso was bold and clean. A definite must stop for anyone who is looking for good quality coffee and a chill atmosphere. Also, very good gluten free options for baked goods. The banana chocolate chip muffins were GF and so tasty! Thank you for a great breakfast!

Bird's Eye Outfitters was a great choice for brunch with our 4 and 17 year olds. The little guy loved the grilled cheese with a UPer smoothie and our young lady enjoyed the Vortex. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and kind service while checking out all the outdoor gear and merch.
